Welcome to Volume 3 Chapter 16 of The Necrocasticon, Project Entertainment Network’s podcast that blends horror and heavy metal with a common connection.

Host Tom Clark is joined by our panel of horror & metal experts: Mr. Scott, Smoking Walt Ball & Azriel Mordecai. And we have a special guest panelist, from the Archivists Bet on Sexy Witches podcast, Elizabeth Katherine Gray joins our us this week.

It’s a bittersweet reunion with Liz, guys. You see, our common connection this time around is Tobe Hooper, the film director, who passed away from natural causes Saturday at 74 years of age. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Funhouse, Lifeforce, Poltergeist. Tobe Hooper’s resume speaks for itself and today we are going to remind you how influential he has been on us and the horror community as a whole.

But it get’s bigger. We’ve got not one but 2 interviews in this week’s offering to the metal & horror gods. Tom had an opportunity to talk to a woman Hustler magazines calls one of the hottest scream queens of 2017, singer, dancer and the actress behind the Killjoy movie series’ clown succubus Batty Boop, Victoria De Mare.

It gets better, kids, cos Mr. Scott & Tom also talked to Jarvis Leatherby from Night Demon. He catches us up on what’s been happening since we talked to him way back in our second chapter of our first volume! And guys, it’s huge.

And, of course, both Victoria and Jarvis talk about Tobe Hooper’s influence on them, so it’s a jam packed chapter that you do not want to miss.

The Necrocasticon Volume 3 Chapter 14

Welcome to Volume 3 chapter 14 of the Necrocasticon, the podcast that blends horror and heavy metal into a head banging, bloody smoothie. Your host and moderator, author Tom Clark and with him is our panel of metal & horror experts at Project Entertainment Network, musician Mr. Scott, our jack of all interests Smoking Walt Ball and musician & artist Azriel Mordecai.

Last week was all about the metal when we talked to Hungry Jack. This week we’re all about the horror as we catch up on the movies, TV and books that have been piling up. We’re hitting all the bases. From the not quite horror but deserves a mention, movies like War of the Planet of the Apes to TV like Game of Thrones. From Preacher to 68 Kill and to Annabelle Creation and everything in between, we’re opening a can of critical whoop ass for your pleasure this week, peeps & perps.

But we can’t do that alone, oh no. Joining us this week will be our brother from another mother, South FL film critic, freelance journalist, and co-host of The Curtain Jerkers podcast here at Project Entertainment Network, Steve Mesa. Steve has our exclusive review of ANOTHER WOLF COP from its debut at Popcorn Frights in Miami this past weekend, guys! Yes he’s seen the film and is here to talk about it with us.

Our metal focus this week takes us to Walt’s Smoker and a doomy trip to the dark side of the moon as we dig deep into a project by members of The Sword: DOOM SIDE OF THE MOON, a release that could very well be in our top 10 list for album of the year, or not, as the case may be.

But that’s not all, Az takes us back to the Mortuary as we tell some Nazi’s to fuck off and Mr Scott gives the ax handle to a grand forefather in arms.

This week we talk to upstate NY “Tardcore” band, Hungry Jack, and you don’t want to miss this strange interview. Mr. Scott had an opportunity to speak with them recently, and we are presenting it to you in all it’s goofy glory.

Necrocasticon Volume 3 Chapter 12

Welcome to Volume 3 Chapter 12 of The Necrocasticon, where we blend horror and heavy metal properties with a common connection. Your host, horror writer Tom Clark, is back in the studio this week after the trip to Scares That Care in Williamsburg, VA. And that means Mr. Scott and Azriel Mordecai are with him, once again. We regret Smoking Walt ball had an emergency to handle, but have no fear, he’ll be back next week.

We’re getting soft on you this week, with the Silent Screams: A Discussion on Quiet Horror panel from Scare That Care 2017 with Paul Tremblay, Mary SanGiovanni, Ronald Malfi, Damien Angelica Walters, John Maclay, James Noll, and moderator Matt Serafini.

But that’s not all. In line with the soft horror discussion, we’re also sharing with you, our favorite metal power ballads, just in time for a nice romantic summer with your other half. If you have one. From Motley Crue to Vandenburg, we’re digging into the softer side of metal.

Our regular segments return, too, this week! Tom reviews Craig Spector’s Resurrection Road CD, Az takes us on bloody back country roads on the way to his mortuary, and Mr. Scott gives the axe to a Kid with political aspirations. It’s a jam packed Necrocasticon and you don’t want to miss it!
