BeersNFears : Mr. Frank : Bizzong! Podcast

Spring has sprung on Bizzong! The flowers are blooming, the weather is mild and Mr. Frank is hitting the road trying to convince unsuspecting readers to take a stab at one of his books. This week on Bizzong, host Mr. Frank talks about the #BeersNFears New Jersey Brewery Tour he is a part of. Fresh off the tour’s first stop at Demented Brewing, he recounts the evening and the elements that make having this type of signing/selling event a unique way to get your books out to the public you may not necessarily reach otherwise.

There are still three more days left on the tour. If you listen in time and can come out and have a beer with Mr. Frank and company, please do!

Thursday, April 20th at Belford Brewing in Belford NJ

Friday April 21st at Spellbound Brewing in Mount Holly, NJ

Saturday April 22nd at Angry Erick in Lafayette, NJ (With special guest Dan Padavona)

img_20160822_001339

Zongers! We’ve got an American classic this week for you. Arthur Graham is one half of the founding duo of the Rooster Republic Press. His tenacity and eye for quality Bizarro fiction helped shape an influential Bizarro press and shape the landscape of what Bizarro can be beyond the scope of Eraserhead Press.

But beyond that, Arthur Graham is also a wonderful creator of Bizarro fiction himself. He writes weird poetry, crazy short fiction and balls-to-the-wall fun long form fiction. He is an unsung hero of the Bizarro genre and I hope spotlighting him on Bizzong this week will help inform everyone of the great work he’s done and continues to do with the bizarre and weird fiction realms.

So hit play because it’s #ZongerDay with the one and only Arthur Graham!

Adam Millard is the author of twenty-two novels, thirteen novellas, and more than two hundred short stories, which can be found in various collections and anthologies. Probably best known for his post-apocalyptic fiction, Adam also writes fantasy/horror for children and Bizarro fiction for several publishers, who enjoy his tales of flesh-eating clown-beetles and rabies-infected derrieres so much that they keep printing them. His “Dead” series has recently been the filling in a Stephen King/Bram Stoker sandwich on Amazon’s bestsellers chart. Adam is a regular columnist for UK horror website, This Is Horror.
