The Necrocasticon Volume 3 Chapter 30

Welcome to Volume 3 Chapter 30 of the Necrocastion. Your host, author Tom Clark is joined by most of our panel of metal and horror experts. Mr. Scott is here, as is Azriel Mordecai. Walt is off tending to his family this week!

It’s a very special Necrocasticon, or maybe we should call it the Nosferoticon, as we give our audio commentary on Nosferatu. The classic adaptation of Bram Stoker’s Dracula. That technically ISN’T an adaptation of Bram Stoker’s Dracula.

Almost lost to history and only existing because someone broke the law, Nosferatu was a controversial film when it was released.

For our purposes, we’ve obtained a copy from Archive dot Org. You can find our cut here! Just sync up with us on the podcast and you’re ready to go! Watching the movie isn’t required to listen, either!

The Necrocasticon Volume 3 Chapter 29

Welcome to Volume 3 Chapter 29 of the Necrocasticon. This week, special guest panelist, Metal Bob Staffa, metal historian and upstate NY radio personality, joins us to debate who is greater, Ozzy or Dio?

We discuss their tenures in Black Sabbath versus their contributions to metal and everything in between. It’s a no-win war this week for Tom Clark, Mr. Scott, Smoking Walt Ball and Azriel Mordecai.

But that’s not all. Walt and Tom take a bunch of anti-depressants to offer you a spoiler free review of Mike Lombardo’s I’m Dreaming of a White Doomsday. The indy film has been making waves in the festival circuit and we’ll tell you if it’s worth seeking out.

Az heads back to the new and improved Mortuary, going east to west with some Armageddon Dildos, and Mr. Scott gives the axe blade to a metal guy who just can’t stop being a dick.

Necrocasticon Volume 3 Chapter 28

Volume 3 Chapter 28 of the Necrocasticon remembers a couple legends this week. First, we eulogize Malcolm Young, of AC/DC fame.

Then we turn our attention to the sage of horror cinema… John Carpenter. Carpenter molded an era with his films and his scores. Director, producer, writer and composer. His legacy is our main topic this week as Mr. Scott takes the helm while Tom Clark goes on assignment to see John Carpenter perform live.

The Head Hauntress, Elizabeth Gray joins us for the second week in a row, filling in on our panel for Tom. The guys drag her into the mortuary to see if we can translate what Azriel Mordecai has going on down there, and Walter Ball set the Smoker up In Flames.

The Necrocasticon Volume 3 Chapter 27

You’ve got Volume 3 Chapter 27 of the Necrocasticon crawling into your ear cavity with another jam packed show.

Our big attraction this week features the kids from IT. We present their Spooky Empire Q&A session, and it has Jaeden Lieberher (Bill), Sophia Lillie (Beverly), Jeremy Ray Taylor (Ben) and Wyatt Oleff (Stanley) on board.

Plus, Archivists Bet on Sexy Witches host Elizabeth Gray joins us to fill in for Mr. Scott, and she shows her metal side, assisting Walt in this week’s Epic Smoker as they review the latest albums from Trivium, GWAR, Black Dahlia Murder, Fozzy and Enslaved.

Liz also helps Tom out talking about TV like The Exorcist and Stan Against Evil, Az takes us axe murdering in Mortuary, and we throw an honorary axe handle out for the absent Mr. Scott.

Necrocasticon Volume 3 Chapter 26

Welcome to Volume 3 Chapter 26 of the Necrocasticon, the podcast that makes a big bloody smoothie out of horror & heavy metal. This week Tom, Walt, Scott and Az are back in the studio after taking Halloween off to give you the first Chapter of the Necrocasticon Presents. We’ve got to catch up on some reviews, a few movies, TV shows and albums have hit since we last met. All that and Tom interviews Arizona hardcore scream-o metal heads American Standards. He talked to vocalist Brandon Kellum and guitarist Corey Skowronski a few weeks ago and the three of them get into music and horror. Az takes us into the mortuary for some Medieval Babes… and Mr Scott gives the ax handle to a group of blood thirsty cannibals.

The Necrocasticon Presents: Hallowed Ground Chapter 1

“A Boy and His Dog” meets “Night of the Comet” in a future world where we are reminded why people are afraid of the dark. A man and his dog abide by the rules to stay alive: travel during the day and spend your nights on holy ground. When the duo discover a refuge almost too good to be true, it becomes apparent they’re not alone in this weird new world.

Hosted by the Necrocasticon’s mascot, Morty the Curator, Hallowed Ground follows the mantra of the Necrocasticon by blending horror and heavy metal, a thrilling narrative combined with a driving heavy metal soundtrack.

The Necrocasticon Presents: Hallowed Ground Chapter 1 was written and produced by the Necrocasticon’s Thomas R. Clark. Starring the voice talents of our co-hosts, Scott Groverston and Walter Ball.

Also starring Joshua Montaque, Elizabeth Gray and introducing to you, Rocket and Diego the Jack Russell Terriers as The Dog of Many Names.

Featuring the music of Matt Sampere and Storm Cell. Additional music provided by Daniel Edenfield and the Night Keep.

The Necrocasticon Volume 3 Chapter 24

Welcome to Volume 3 Chapter 24 of the Necrocasticon, Project Entertainment Network’s podcast that blends horror and heavy metal with common connection, usually.

Our panel of metal and horror experts were live at Authorcon at the Holiday Inn in Oneonta, NY over the weekend, and it seemed like we had a revolving door of guests. A record 7 guests, at that, on this Necrocasticon!

They join Tom Clark, Walt Ball and guest panelist The Viking, Brian Burton, from our sister podcast, The Curtain Jerkers. This is a special edition, peeps & perps, with no actual topic other than the horror and dark fantasy writer guests at Authorcon.

Sideshow freak Len Oddity joins authors Dwight Kemper, Erin Kelly, Solon Tsangaras aka Little Stevie, Greg “JG” Faherty, Patrick Freivald and Mindy Baker as they walk on through the convention floor.

Metal fans have no fear, because Tom and Greg talk guitars and Little Stevie gives us an Uncle Fester track for your listening pleasure.

Our panel is divided into 2 camps… Pro Carpenter and Pro Zombie as we debate the merits, and negatives, of both films.

Plus, we have a preview of Freddy Fest with promoter Jeff Meyer and Tom reviews Ayla, Elias Ganster’s latest film, a very dark and morose movie Tom describes as beautiful from the shadows. And finally, Az revisits the Electric Hellfire Club and shouts at the devil in Mordecai’s Mortuary.
