Arm Cast Podcast: Episode 190 – Zimecki And Roy

Another week of great interviews on Arm Cast: Dead Sexy Podcast with host Armand Rosamilia

Michael Zimecki is an attorney and the author of Death Sentences, a novel about mass murder and the dark underside of the alt.right. Prophetic in its scope, Death Sentences was published by Crime Wave Press in 2014, before the rise of Trumpism and the ascendancy of the white nationalist movement. Mr. Zimecki’s nonfiction work has appeared in Harper’s Magazine and The National Law Journal, among other publications.

Chris Roy was raised in South Mississippi, in the midst of ugly Gulf Coast beaches and spectacular muddy bayous. Chris lived comfortably with the criminal ventures of his youth until a fistfight in 1999 ended tragically. Since January, 2000, he’s been serving a life sentence in the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Nowadays he lives his life crime vicariously, through the edgy, fast-paced stories he pens, hoping to entertain readers. When he isn’t writing, he’s reading, drawing or looking for prospects to train in boxing.

Arm Cast Podcast: Episode 179 – Power And Bonds

A couple of great interviews this week as Arm Cast Dead Sexy Podcast host Armand Rosamilia gets to chat with:

Kit Power, an author, podcaster, and blogger. His novel, GodBomb!, and novella collection Breaking Point were published by The Sinister Horror Company and are widely available, and his debut collection is out on November 3rd. His podcast, Watching RoboCop with Kit Power, sees him sitting down every month to discuss the greatest movie ever made with a guest, and recording the resulting conversation. And his My Life In Horror blog has been running at Gingernuts Of Horror for three years, where he discusses films, books, music and events that scarred him as a child.

And then:

Like many young writers, Javan Bonds dreams almost daily of the apocalypse ? usually one populated by the walking dead. But his real-life day-to-day existence is almost as challenging as the world of zombies and collapsing civilizations. Javan, now 30 years old, legally blind and functionally deaf, and with congestive heart failure was diagnosed with Friedrich’s Ataxia, a form of muscular dystrophy, at the age of 11. In December 2015 doctors gave him six months to two years to live. Though that pronouncement has changed now and his health has improved somewhat, in that moment he decided that if he was going, he would leave something of himself behind to be remembered. So began his writing and publishing career.
