Necrocasticon Volume 3 Chapter 41

Welcome to volume 3 Chapter 41 of the Necrocasticon! Women in Horror Month continues, minus a female guest this week.

Tom has his review of MOHAWK, plus Ted Geohegan’s Q&A from the Syracuse premiere this past week, a film some are saying is as culturally significant to members of the First Nation as Black Panther is to African Americans.

Walt passes judgment on the latest Hellraiser entry in his smoker, Az has some words for Gibson’s management, to the tune of an elven choir in the mortuary and Scott’s ax handle gets lost in Vegas.

And, finally, we test the bonds of friendship once again with Roman Dominguez, as he joins us to give another B Movie review.

The Old Dark House

Jim examines what was once a lost classic from Director James Whale, 1932’s “The Old Dark House,” starring Boris Karloff, Raymond Massey, Gloria Stuart, Charles Laughton, Melvyn Douglas, Ernest Theisiger and Lillian Bond. The influence this film had on many horror films to come is seen right out of the blocks with a young couple and their friend stranded at the mansion of a very dysfunctional family. Find out what transpires on this episode of “Monster Attack.”

Arm Cast Podcast: Episode 194 – Raymond And Manochio

Another couple of great author interviews and one super great interviewer.

Arm Cast: Dead Sexy Podcast host Armand Rosamilia chats with

Rebekah Raymond, the author of the thriller Life’s Series. She writes at night, after real-life responsibilities end. She writes by the unnerving process of dissassociation.

Matt Manochio, the author of The Dark Servant, Twelfth Krampus Night, The Sentinels, and The Highwayman, all from Crossroads Press. The Highwayman is his most recent release and a crime thriller. An ex-journalist, he’s now left newspapers for a more solid job. He lives in New Jersey with his son.
